Warren Buffet has often said that if he had been
born in Bangladesh no one would have ever heard
of him, even if he became the richest man in
Bangladesh that would be nowhere near what was
possible in the USA.

That said, good and bad teachers can still make an
impact positively or negatively.

with Outliers. He made some good points, but he is way too quick to jump the conclusions in many cases. He completely passes over major factors which could also contribute to the circumstances where some people fall.

That said, his education reform ideas are ground-breaking, at least for an average person not plugged into education circles such as myself. I came away saying to myself that we seriously need to take his advice and chance the school system completely.
