Playing by the rules
Well my 401 is not 1.0. I own my home and cars and have no debt. Still, I expect the Messiah will be calling on me to sacrifice for the other some 47 million who 'haven't made it in this competitive economy.' Yeah, that is it. We Americans compete , innovate, grow, invest. But, Obama is not on to that part of America's genius. Frankly, I am tired of the victocrats. I know God blessed me all this time not because I was Bernie Madow or Bill Gates. He chose to . So I tried to work and I did since age 12-69. No one bailed me out. I even paid taxes unlike those who will get rebates for not paying taxes. Ah the intellect of liberals who want all to be equal , equally mediocre. Yeah, I have failed, been fired but came back and invested from a teacher and pastor's salary at more than one time. That is life. And I am white but not ashamed of it. I am lower middle class but not ashamed. I am a conservative and not ashamed. I am a believer in America, Jesus, our culture-history-Constitution but today that will not stop the onslaught of the barbarians at our gates.

So true, sad but true
The moochers and the looters are at the buffet, knives and forks drawn, at the table set and paid for by the achievement class - and they don't care how or by what means they get what they think they are owed. The left will be perfectly happy leading a 3rd rate nation, as they have led 3rd rate urban areas for 50+ years, and the drones will continue to empower them.
Very good points.
Cheers,
Mike

I read th lovely letter and was reading the comments about "Pam."
I have been laid off, no one came and saved me. I remember being a moron with my 1099's and having to pay thousands in taxes (hello me - estimated taxes), been there. Had ups and downs, the goverment did not come knocking on my door. Paid my student loans and my mortgage, so heck yeah Pam, I want a star!

Thanx for the post and letter from dear pam. Now envy is a good summation. Maybe she was listening to the song, "When you wish upon a star" when she wrote it. Then again, I have to wonder if this isn't one of the male TH trolls in drag.
Great catch and thanx for putting this up!

Salt. Differentiating a "depression"
During the "Great depression," we did not have a nation of maggots feeding off a dead carcass.
The country was not dead. Even the registered Communist serving as Roosevelt's White House Chief of Staff did not want that eventuality.
Our emerging national crisis is not in the character of an economic depression. This is taking on the appearance of a conquest. Anyone seeing Berlin in the weeks after VE Day would see the comparison. It was the people. They were animals tearing at each other and the ruins of their once beautiful city.
In the American depression of the 1930's, no neighbor would listen to destructive talk; and the governmental officials were in solidarity in their devotion to saving the nation. Even the Communists talked of the strengths of the heritage, knowing that The Heritage was the legacy of the constitutional founders and a universe of European theologians and philosophers adverse to them.
Roosevelt would never have said: This crisis presents great opportunitites to seize power and everything we can haul away.
The obvious difference is Obama's feverish haste to create all of the carcasses possible as quickly as possible and cheer for the maggots.
There's a difference between being overwhelmed by a fierce antithetcal enemy and suffering an economic depression.
You jogged a memory.

You said it all to all the Pam's of America! Unfortunately they will never realize you are talking about them. With Libs there is always someone else to blame.. AND someone else to pay for their excesses

Good article, sad that it is so true these days. Personal responsibility seems to have flown the coup in recent times.
