I was wondering if the Secret Service that is guarding him now, carry guns? I mean he is against guns. Should he become POTUS will the Secret Service, local police, state police, military, or any other law enforcement agency be allowed to carry guns. I do realize his private security force that's stronger and funded better then the military will be allowed to carry guns, otherwise he is going to have a hard time collecting all the guns from our CDH.

Of course folks like Obama who are at the fore of the legislation know this is not so. But they must keep chanting the same chorus and there are those who believe withoug thought.
Obama and all his minions can legislate against firearms until the cows come home. Folks who think for themselves and see what happened in countries where guns were confiscated and outlawed will act accordingly. All outlawing firearms will do is make a whole new class of criminals. Quite a few more. But like the Texas Ranger said, "I'd rather have 12 judging me than 6 carrying me."

Pepp, you and Goshawk need to take Joe seriously in this one statement. I think Joe was told something to prepare himself and Obama for the Presidency. Whatever it was scared him to death. The problem is, what did he mean?
As for me and my family, we will put our trust in God (and stockpile all the ammo and canned goods I can afford).

He also wants to put a huge tax on buying guns if it's still allowed. For example if you were to buy a rifle for $500, you would pay a $300 tax. I forget what the tax percentage is. I heard this on Glen Beck this morning.

It's possible. I don't know Biden as well as I should. He always struck me as a "typical bureaucrat"; so I never really researched him.
I believe, if I was forced to make a guess, that Obama and Biden were shown (by the Bush Administration) something to do with the Middle East. Whatever it was, Biden got scared. The Democrats will not allow Obama/Biden to do something "stupid", like allowing Israel to be wiped off the face of the earth by a nuclear attack by Iran (I'm not saying this is what they were shown; it's just an example.)
Biden knows that Obama will have to react to whatever this is. Obama will be forced to send in troops, make a tactical strike, or something the Looney Left will be "up in arms" about. He is preparing the Liberal Elites for this action. The Liberal Elites will have to calm down the rank-and-file Looney Left.
At least that is what I pray it is. I pray it is not something that will require a decleration of "Marshal Law" in the USA and requiring all civilians to turn in their weapons. That would start the 3rd Revolution in this country.

One other reason I believe that this concerns the Middle East. We already know that John McCain has promised to keep the "War on Terror" going. Therefore, McCain/Palin (who would get the same briefing that Obama/Biden got) would not be "scared to death".

The Fairness doctrine if passed could backfire on the Dems. To go after talk radio they would also have to go after news organizations, all this pro Obomb and anti McCain reporting would have to end in future elections. All newspaper and magazines would need to make sure the candidates get the same front page coverage, as will all articles, if they could not write more negative stories about one candidate then the other. If it's fairness it has to go all the way.

This one family was burglarized somewhere in Illinois, (I can't recall the town's name). Well, the burglars came back the second night to burglarize these people again. The owner shot the burglars, but with a gun that wasn't registered.
The Illinois senate wanted to exonerate this guy because he was defending his family and property and Obama voted NO.

I think part of it is Barry's past as a member of Wright's church and their hope that Barry will guarantee them more handouts.

I had to leave mine when I moved, this has been quite the year...left one job because of verbal and physical abuse, moved and left my dog there because he has 100 acres to roam, was sexually harrassed at another - so I quit, lost 3rd job because of AIG, my best friend just found out she has a large tumor. It's almost more than one person can take! I haven't slept much this week, part of why I've posted so much. I did put a paraphrased translation on the video for you.

I sure can empathize with you and my condolences on having to leave your dog behind. That must have broken your heart I'm sure. I know it would mine.
You sure do have enough on your plate don't you?
Just having one of those stresses in your life is enough, like losing your dog, but then on top of it you have lost 3 jobs, and your friend with the tumor is another big one.
I hope you are holding up under the weight of all this.
I can certainly identify with all you're going through. We've had so many medical problems going on here the last year. Then one of our Shepherds died, Foxy, on July 13th. Our other shepherd is also old and he's having problems with arthritis and we don't know how long he has left. He was broken hearted when Foxy died because Gos raised the two of them together since they were pups. He still is mourning her.
Today Dakota, my corgi, seems to be doing so much better. He is hungry again which is a good sign. He still is lying around a lot, not yet back to his frisky self, but seeing him be able to eat again is good.
The vet gave him an IV yesterday and 3 shots and then sent us home with medicine for him. So, we're keeping a close watch on him. I raised him from a pup too and he's my baby.
My best friend got lung cancer 3 years ago and she is battling that every day. Right now she is clear, but when they radiated her one lung they basically destroyed it. She's in bad shape and very depressed a lot of the time.
So, I sure do feel for you.

Then, once these weapons are purchased by the wino's, brought outside and taken ownership of by an agent of the well-to-do person previously mentioned. Within which stockpiles of these hunting (sniper) rifles/ammo will be stored until such time as they are needed to help take back our nation if it ever comes to that.
At least I hope something like this might be happening. Who knows. It sounds a little far out, but....
Might make a good futuristic novel, too. DD

There is certainly more than enough balance on the Internet especially with liberal sites like HuffPo and DailyKos, but the libs don't see it that way.
If you recall the libs still think the MSM is giving Obami a raw deal and have asked him tough questions. Their perspective is so far off.

Shoot. I can't see that video you put the link to. Could you post on here what was said? Ron and I are on dial up and it won't work. As I've said other times, on dial up it takes hours to download utube stuff and then it never works right, we just get garbled words here and there.

I just want the bounty. This man amazes me, at how stupid he can be. I have never heard of the military fighting without guns, or the secret service defending someone without a gun.
