Fiscal responsibility
Hello -- I noted your confusion in Austin Hill's article of 12/23, and hope to fill you in on who is the best qualified R candidate -- Mitt Romney.
Before you stop reading, I want to point out that I'm not a member of the Romney campaign, and I'm an Evangelical Lutheran.
Now -- Mitt Romney has the business experience that is MUCH NEEDED in this country, to make our federal government more fiscally responsible:
1) He took a fiscally failed and corrupt Salt Lake City Olympics, and made it profitable and successful.
2) Before that, he founded Bain Capital, which took financially troubled companies and made them fiscally sound -- Staples and Dominoes Pizza are two such companies that Bain turned around. Bain turned around HUNDREDS of companies in it's history so far.
3) He turned Mass. from "Taxechusets" to a more fiscally sound state, and found a free market health insurance plan, with the assistance of the Heritage Foundation, to tackle the health insurance problem there.
There are other reasons: His stable family life and good moral character, his valient fight against the same-sex marriage crowd and the Mass. Supreme Court (which he lost, but he DIDN'T enable this decision), his decisions on Life and his conversion to pro-life -- which was so sincere that his state's pro-life group has endorsed him for President.
The RINO flip-flopper charges are inacurate in my view, and unfair, but the biggest reasons I am voting for this man is because he's what our country needs fiscally, to trim the bloated Federal Government and get our country on the fiscally right road.
You choose how you want, but don't get all your information on the candidates from the Internet. Do your own analysis. Read the records. Executive experience matters, and Mitt has the most of ANYONE -- R or D.
I hope I helped.
