Ah, Autumn!

A time to wax eloquent on the scenery as God's paintbrush splashes new colors on His creation. I, too, find Fall my favorite season. For me, it reminds me of new beginnings more than even spring does. New school year (not that I've been in school lately!), new cross country season (when I was in school), small game season in PA growing up, which meant weekends in the woods enjoying the them regardless of bagging anything, end of summer heat (heat = yuck! in my book), and preparations for "battening down the hatches" for the ensuing winter months (which have their own attractions, including, but not limited to, CHRISTMAS!).

The problem is the Indian Summer that seems to always rear it's ugly head here on the Left Coast right when I'm loving the crisp air...;) uhg!
