RE: As LFR's owner, I'm offering the first person to tell me when a Republican accused President Clinton of being obsessed with bin Laden a mystery prize of incredible worth.
I'm here to collect my prize. Although the Republicans did waylay Clinton's series of anti-terrorist bills in 1996 and repeatedly called chemical markers in explosives "a phoney issue" (see:
http://www.cnn.com/US/9607/30/clinton.terrorism/), a month before Clinton left office Robert Oakley, Reagan's Ambassador for counterterrorism stated "Overall, I give [the Clinton Administration] very high marks" and "The only major criticism I have is the obsession with Osama".
If you do a search for "Robert Oakley" "Osama" "obession" you will find numerous texts which validate this.
