We were there

My husband and I decided to go a couple of months ago. At that time, practically no one was talking about it, but we were pretty angry at the government and had just been to the Tea Party in Atlanta. So, we combined this little trip with a vacation to the NE to visit family.
As the time approached, and more people began talking about it, we got more excited. We left the NE on Friday night and drove all night to get to DC on Saturday morning, just in time for everything to start. We were exhausted, but thrilled to be there. I've never been so proud of all of us! What a day!
Woe betide the politician who fails to "hear us now"!
