Congratulations
YOU SAID IT ALL!!! And said it well.
Too many people live their lives never looking up to see what is happening. Maybe now when their pocketbooks are being emptied they will wake up.
You wouldn't want to make a bet on that, would you?
They will scream and yell and send back the same bandits to Congress again and again and blame the oil companies. Then they will blame the president and elect an idiot.
Ptui!!

With all due respect...
and sincerity, what is your solution? How do we make government accountable when "We the People" prefer a charlatain to an acountable geek like individual. As long as the MSM promote appearance over integrity and qualifications "We the people" will continue to elect those who do us so much harm.
Keep it up is my only offering for a cure. Keep bringing the truth to the front, throwing it in the face of the lying MSM. We bloggers have that capability. I agree with you in every detail, and mean you no criticism.
Thanks for your post.

The Dem Congress
is working hard to keep the cost of gas climbing. They believe that, by pushing up the cost of gas, the American voter will blame Bush, and those voters will then vote for the loser Obama.
The Dem Congress controls the cost of gas. If they want to see the price go down, they need only tell the world that the US will begin drilling in ANWR, the gulf and other prime areas.
The Dem Congress is putting 'the Party' in front of the Country.

LOL I don't take offense easily and discussions surely don't do it.
I don't have a solution. I like yours since I don't see any other. I just wish we could get the truth farther front!
You're welcome!! :-)

Sens.
While I agree the Dems are taking advantage of the oil prices to beat Bush I don't think they have control of it.
Granted they need to announce and allow drilling.
The ban against drilling in Africa and offshore is getting more ridiculous every day.

What gives?
emjayne makes the first comment on this blog by Minute Man X, yet replies to successive comments as if he/she were the author, Minute Man X.
Am I wrong in my conclusions?
Who is the author, are they the same?
Or is emj responding to what he believes are comments directed toward him/herself?
Or is there a flaw in the posting capability of TH.com?

emj,
I didn't intend to come off so accusingly, only curious as to whether you had a dual blogonality or was being just that much more involved in answering anything you saw as a valid query. None of which I would condemn having read most of your offerings and been in agreement therewith.
No apology necessary, just the honest reason for my incoherency is sufficient.
Best wishes,
Glenn
