No gays in the military; here's why

Actually, the only "certainty" originates from those who are obsessed with their fundamentalist interpretation of the bible. We were founded as a secular society. We continue to be a secular society. We are not - and never have been - a theocracy.

BTW, there are thousands of gays in the military who are officially in the closet. Yet, nobody has been dismissed for bad conduct other than revealing that they are gay - often unintentionally. Where are all the complaints?

According to Military Times, therr are fewer objections among officers to repealing DADT than their were to racial integration or gender integration in the service academies.

Your notion that enlistments will fall is unsupportable. Your religious beliefs belong in church - not in the Pentagon. Not to mention that scores of flag officers - admirals and generals - are eager to repeal DADT.

I have come across this before. You and others like you, assume there is a religious perspective or influence in opinions against homosexuality.

Homosexuality as a deviance has nothing to do with the Bible or religious beliefs. Homosexuality is a maladaptive practice, perhaps a genetic flaw, and was once a mental illness.

You have assumed religious beliefs where I have espoused none. So your comment, arguement, and nonrealization that my statistics are not my own make your entire arguement moot, irrelevant, and misplaced.

Morals DO belong in the Pentagon, the military, the government, and on the planet.
