Again,we see the SCOTUS totally IGNORING the Constitution with Kelo v New London. A HORRIBLE decision. This was another mistake Bush should have jumped all over, but was derelect in his duty to defend an OBVIOUS assault on it. Having any sort of standard to meet in order to cast a vote has merit,CK,but implementing it in this current climate would be damn near impossible.Imagine the screams coming from Sharpton,Jackson,La Raza,et al.Besides, there aren't any officeholders with the cojones to put it out there. Royal power. This is EXACTLY where Obama is taking the country, and to think Bush actually opened the barn door for the azshat.Obama does not talk down the economy for no reason. He is a LOT smarter than even I want to give him credit for.As we talked about yesterday, the Gov't controls all, controls it's population. No more complicated than that. It is sort of heartening to see some dhimmis, such as Bayh of Indiana step up and say "Wait a second".However,he WILL be sat down. Can't stray from the ranch,eh? I've said it before,I'll say it until I assume room temperature. TERM LIMITS!! Change it from the current system,so these clowns,ALL of them, are up at the same time.I simply believe that if they cannot get their ideas out in 10 years or less, tough s#!t.Must mean their ideas were not that good to begin with. The people running for office today put up this front of "wanting to do great things for the country",when ALL they are after is THEIR piece of the pie.

Term limits is exactly what we need! It is too bad that they didn't add term limits to congress at the same time they did it for the executive branch. They start to get very wasteful when they spend too much time in office. They do not relate to the people anymore.
Too many of them aspire for greatness instead of having it thrust upon them. George Washington first refused the presidency and Reagan had to be talked into it by his friends. We need more people in there that are put in their because of the minds and not because of their hunger for the position. Its too bad that it will probably never happen that way again.

Don't you know it. If OFFERED the job,I would try,but I don't think I'd last too long. Calling a stupid f-ing idea in D.C. a stupid f-ing idea, and whoever brought it up ought to have his azs kicked most likely would not get me far.Not to mention, the first sentence of my first speech would go something like this:"If you think the gov't is the source of your contentment, happiness,or the solution to your problems, you may as well not turn to me. My job is to get this gov't back to those duties and limitations placed on it under the Constitution as it was written, not what someone thinks it should say".OK,OK,I'll wake up!
