Good stuff, Flag

Merry Christmas to you and your family, my friend.

Brian

The same to you! Enjoy your new son this Christmas season!

Merry Christmas

To you and yours this holiday season Flag. May your house be warm and filled with love.

Just got back from the

family get-together, at my Mom's in San Diego, with my new son-in-law and everyone.

Truly a great Christmas! We had a HOOOOOOT!

God, I LOVE just being alive at times like these!

I hope you and yours have even HALF as great a time.

Humming right along

Christmas is humming right along here. The kids got pretty much what they wanted and a lot of what they needed, so it's all good! My Christmas travelling usually starts AFTER Christmas!

I haven't

posted on your site in a while. I never actually responded to your last post to me either. OOPS. We'll pick that up later on.

As for Clarence Thomas, I don't have a positive opinion of him. Interesting he equates himself with Justice Harlan. Does he share this opinion also:

""The white race deems itself to be the dominant race in this country. And so it is, in prestige, in achievements, in education, in wealth, and in power. So, I doubt not, it will continue to be for all time, if it remains true to its great heritage, and holds fast to the principles of constitutional liberty."

Anyway, A. Leon Higginbotham, Jr. is much more of a role model to me. May I suggest you read " Supreme Discomfort: The Divided Soul of Clarence Thomas". You may change your mind.

PS: How bout them REDSKINS BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Actually Ralph

Justice Thomas did not equate himself with Justice Harlan or his particular views on race, he simply pointed out that sometimes making the correct decision makes for a lonely existence. He was simply using that as an example of someone making a stand on an issue that was surely not a popular stand.

And it does not surprise me in the least that you have problems with Justice Thomas, because you have problems with any black person that does not hold the same ideological views that you hold. That is something that I have come to expect from most liberals, and not just you...although it does seem that most black liberals are in lockstep in condemning any blacks that hold divergent views.

As for reading books about Justice Thomas, I will trust him to tell me who he is...not any author writing from a political perspective. I am sure that Mr. Higginbotham's book is probably a favorite of yours because it more than likely savages Justice Thomas and treats him with disdain. I think on this one, I will allow Justice Thomas to tell his own story and not rely on his political opponents to tell me about him.

Finally, it's nice that the Redskins managed to get into the playoffs...after the Sean Taylor murder they deserved a break. But I think that the dream is going to come to an end pretty soon for the Skins, because Todd Collins is soon to be exposed. There's a reason why this cat hadn't started a game in 10 years!
