The NRA supported this bill by saying that last minute changes to HR 2640 made a "good bill even better [and that] the end product is a win for American gun owners."

What a crock! The NRA can no longer be trusted. I would advise anyone reading this to cancel their NRA membership and join the ONLY true gun rights organization - The Gun Owners of America (GOA).

While the NRA (also known to stand for "Negotiate Rights Away") has clearly made their deal with the devil on this bill, I'll not cancel my membership at this point, but I'll let them know I'm not renewing it and why- Just cancelling only means that there are magazines they just won't have to print despite them being already paid for and insurance that I've paid the "premium" to receive.

Additionally, I'll toss in a word of support for JPFO- Jews for the Preservation of Firearms Ownership.I don't see them compromising much, either. :)
