... by leading efforts against the Born Alive Infant Protection bill in Illinois. Unable to factually deny that he opposed and squashed this bill, the Huffington Post article you linked offers the rationalization that Obama only objected to particular provisions in the Illinois bill. This is so much SPIN.

The context of Obama’s opposition to the BAIP is his 100% support for unrestricted abortion rights in any and all circumstances, including late-term and partial birth abortion and minors’ access to abortion. He has a 0% pro-life (NRLC) record and a 100% pro-abortion (NARAL) record. Think I’ll do another post on his strident enthusiasm for abortion overall.

PS: In quoting state Rep. Rosemary Mulligan above, you pointedly took out the reference to her being a “pro-choice” activist.
