I'll say it yet again, while I don't believe you are personally a racist, the whole birther movement has a lot of people who are. And no, I'm not quoting Olberman and Co., I have said this since the begining.

Joe Wilson needs to be smarter and less fringe-ish than Joe McCarthy, McCarthy was an easy target for the leftists to disparage and move the target off of themselves.

Just curious. How should Wilson be less fringe-ish? (That's harder to write than say, isn't it?) Fringe-ish.

Anyway. I'd like to hear your thoughts. I tried coming to my own conclusion but took off on too many tangents.

Never mind Christopher. He & his Ilk seem to think they have some inside track to the truth of Obama's birth. Obama creates this situation of doubt himself by hiding authentic records of, not only his birth, but his education financing, grades & written papers. He continues to shoot "We The People" the finger attitudinally while he tears our country down. Red he is. Indeed he is; red as red can be. I wish I could be just as sure that he is an actual US Citizen, eligible to hold the office he occupies. But I don't know that because he refuses to allow me to know. I don't know, you don't know and neither does Christopher.

When is someone going to take time out from their crucifixion of Joe Wilson to admonish our Liar in Chief and tell him to speak the truth every now and then? Oh silly me..........he has no idea what the truth is. I assume that is a fact since he lies every time he lips move. Christopher needs to examine his classification of folks in the "birther" movement as rascists, since it is unlikely he knows most, if any of them. It's one thing to disagree, another to label someone as despicable. Bobbie hit it on the head, Barry has refused to accomodate the country on the question. And it is right to ask the question, absent the information. Certainly it's more appropriate than fabricating memos regarding National Guard service, for example. Because that's akin to lying.

As for Joe, maybe he was "inartful" (this administration's favorite word) in his statement, but the content was accurate. Maybe he could have said "that's not true!!!" instead, but that's just semantic dithering. I say God Bless Joe for calling barry out, and a pox on the houses of those that try to attach race to this issue.
