DEAF ARTIST, 88, SPEAKS THROUGH PAINTBRUSH

Verne

What a fitting tribute to someone who has overcome what we perceive as adversity.

This is a remarkable story, Verne. And your artist friend is not the only remarkable one ... so are you for undertaking this cause.

Thanx for sharing with us all!

What a great story of the human spirit

and the ability to overcome. This would be a good story to send to our politicians, but they'd be too dense to "get it". Great work Verne, Keep it up.

AL --- more on my friend the artist

Thanks, Mrs. AL. It's always very gratifying to hear from you. The media attention on Mr. Reynolds is beginning to snowball, and he is enjoying it immensely. Tonight we set up a television interview with him. He hit a home run. The reporter, who was game and right on top of the opportunity, had to write questions for Mr. Reynolds, which he then answered. While he cannot hear the sound of his own voice, he is so upbeat and charming that he handled it like a real pro. I am suggesting to the local reporter that she send a teaser to NBC to give the artist national exposure. What a guy. More later. Verne.

Vaccum

Where a vaccum occurs there rushes in and outside source to fill it. As my Dad use to tell us as children: "I use to complain I had no shoes until I met a man with no feet". Always someone worst off than the rest, and this gentleman took his disability and turn it from a negative to a possitive, great story!
