Gov. Palin's nomination

for VP and Obama's nomination for President, I feel, have caused many women to re-think their views on what it means to be "pro-choice".

As a woman who came of age in the 1980's, I took for granted that "pro-choice" was the most humane stance. No longer.

I now realize that we have been duped for decades by the so-called "feminist" movement. Now that I've had babies of my own, I know that there is a very early connection between mother and fetus. And now, looking at my children, how could I look back and think, well, I had the "choice" to terminate their lives?

"Pro-choice" is a misleading label. "Pro-abortion" fits the bill.

Hello, Chris

First, may I say I am so deeply sorry for the many losses you have experienced. Thirty-nine years ago, I had a baby out of wedlock and she was adopted. Abortion isn`t normal coffee table conversation and I don`t know if anyone in my acquaintance has ever had one. "Her" decision to abort is between her and God. What a sad and barbaric society we are becoming when a tiny little soul can be so easily discarded, like a used tissue. Sarah Palin should be heralded and revered for her choice to receive their baby son, Trig, with such joy! Instead, some are trying to destroy her and her family. Very touching post! Thank you!

Right On

I'm glad to read about pro-life women. I think there are a lot more of them than the main stream media wants us to know. I'll never take for granted that my own mom chose life. I think Sarah Palin getting nominated and us getting to see her son Trig is a great testimony to how wonderful life is. Chris, I hope God will continue to bless you and and all other moms out there.
