Transformational?
"There is transformational hope for those who seek and choose it. Otherwise, it’s Gomorrah – here we come! "
So you think that gay people should seek so-called reparative "therapy?"
The science is clear and unambiguous; People are born gay. Even Haggard admits that he is in a sham marriage. The science is also quite clear that attempts to change sexual orientation carry enormous risk. At BEST, those efforts produce a neurotic who pretends to be heterosexual. It is preposterous to suggest that gay people should try to change their inborn sexual orientation in order to conform to a narrow-minded biblical perspective.
Gay "pride" expresses the absence of shame. Nobody should be ashamed of the biological conditions of their mother's womb.

Subjectively one can say: "The science is clear and unambiguous..." When did this scientific discovery occur? If its clear and unambiguous, why is the data not available to all in a clear, unambiguous and convincing forum and format. The fact is there is a great divide between the "subjective" of those wanting it to be so, and the Biblicists who conclude God knows how He made people and it is different than the clear and unambiguous science some wish was there.
I don't believe anyone should be "ashamed" of a valid biological or medical condition. Those should be ashamed who insist on "scientific data" that is not there.

The following studies are all published in PEER REVIEWED scientific journals:
1. The more biological brothers a man has, the more likely it is that he will be gay. A more recent study has examined non-biological brothers in the same home and biological brothers growing up in different homes. It confirms that this is an extraordinarily valid predictor of sexual orientation.
2. About 5% of the population is gay. About 50% of identical twins are gay if their twin is gay. About 25% of fraternal twins are gay if their twin is gay. Those results are ten times and five times the norm. I'm sure that you can connect the dots.
3. EVERY respected medical association has reached published and peer reviewed findings that sexual orientation is formed biologically.
About the ONLY people who insist that sexual orientation is choice are individuals who need to validate their biblical perspective.
Critical thinkers start with a hypothesis, do experiments and then reach conclusions based upon the results.
Fundamentalists, in contrast, reach a conclusion and then selectively observe results that will support that preordained conclusion.

The "studies" of which you speak are the hypotheses and presuppositions embraced by those wishing to prove the legitimacy of alternative lifestyles. Some "Fundamentalists" are guilty of the same approach - build a "straw man" and then tear it apart to prove a hypothesis and/or presupposition.
Typical of the Homosexual approach are the comments of Barney Frank yesterday in his statement about "Obama Over-Estimating His Charm" - where Frank shares his ramblings and diatribe about a very serious issue - http://briefingroom.thehill.com...
There are two truths that come through clearly from your comments and website: (1) indifference to context; and (2) generalization so a presupposition can be promulgated.
The Presupposition - "people are born gay" - supports a presupposition - but it allows the Biblicist to respond: (a) God did NOT create "gay people"; (b) Gay people could NOT reproduce and populate the planet; (c) Gay people CANNOT be legitimately or naturally husbands and wives and parents; etc.
The Logic dispels and disarms the Hypotheses and Presuppositions being espoused.
BTW - your website is well-done.
