A Sarah Palin knockout

Polls are deceptive (shameless plug for my blog) and unless we know who was polled and how the questions were worded and posed, they are meaningless. Challenge the premise of the polls actually reflecting anything other than what the pollster is hired to reflect.
I believe that for us to survive until the election with our sanity, and our morale, intact - we must have more faith in our own instincts and judgments. Palin was masterful in last night's debate. Sure, she avoided some parts of questions and even a question or two...does that make her skilled or stupid? I say, skilled. Did she effectively communicate TO THE AMERICAN PEOPLE? I answer, a resounding yes. That was her task, and she carried it off brilliantly. Those who want more policy speak so that they can feel that they are the only ones who can possibly understand the intricacies of Washington, hate her way and love Biden/Obama. That's the argument, isn't it? It's a complicated world, and only someone who has studied it forever can possibly steer this ship...no room for new ideas or new ways. Oh, wait....CHANGE! CHANGE!

Well said Cindy. What was very telling was the red-faced fury of Chris Matthews and the rest of the PBS crowd. I would wager that they only polled watchers at the DNC halls.

Hi, Rockpile! Sarah was great last night and I am so pleased for her success! Joe was caught in at least 14 outright lies and still the MSM gave him the win on points! Sarah Palin is a natural and a true asset to the McCain ticket! Also, the polls? In my entire life I have never been polled. Where do they find these people?

Of course the lefty network gave Biden the win. On the one "man on the street" poll they did the raised hands were 9 to 9 Palin/Biden and they called that a clear Biden win. Where do they find these people? Probably in a Greenwich Village latte bar where nobody actually works for a living.
