Short answer: NO. When the inflationary pressure hits all this newly printed money,it'll look like Zimbabwe's. We already are seeing resistance by China, among many,to taking on additional U.S. debt. The ONLY one I can think of who is pleased with the turn of the U.S. economy, and the MASSIVE debt on society Obama has inflicted, would be Soros. His wildest fantasy, that of bringing the American dollar to it's knees,is about to be delivered to him by his stooge in the White House.

No kidding on Soros. Now he can claim his prediction on the American dollar is coming true. It would take a hard and fast turnaround to get out of this. I don't see it coming because, first of all nothing happens hard and fast unless its by the democrats and second the republicans are not the people to turn this around anyways.

"The republicans are not the people to turn this around anyways"... BRILLIANT summation. No they are not.BUT,they COULD point out WHY this is SO damaging to our economy, and work on DIFFERENTIATING themselves from the dhimmis on this.CK,it is just MHO,but I believe the GOP,IF it can get itself together, and put out a STRONG conservative face, could pummel the dems next year. Will they, you ask? Sad to say,I think not.

Very very true. They could do it, but they still haven't put forth a conservative showing as of yet. Here and there they show some resistance, but nothing REAL strong. This healthcare bill was the first positive sign I have seen from them.

It Will Take A Reduction of Over 50%....
in all federal spending to bring about a change in what is happening on foreign markets concerning the US dollar in a meaningful period of time.
If we assume the military budget can't be cut more than 20% with out taking substantial security risks, than we are left with the complete elimination of welfare, medicaid, the US Dept. of Education, and ALL social engineering programs.
That and arresting George Soros.

there's one way to get it under control
Cut off spending for every program Not supported by the constitution.
We'd be running a surplus in no time.
Will it ever happen?
Doubtful.
Glad to see ya back CK :)

Hehe, I would LOVE to cut those programs. Unfortunately there would be rioting if you did that. I see a way in doing what liberals do for gun control. Don't actually get rid of welfare, just make it virtually impossible to qualify. lol

What a day that would be. Im a bit anxious about our upcoming months/years though. I see civil unrest coming. What happens on the other side will shape our country for years to come. Will we have a communist take over as other countries have? Will we only slide into socialism? Or will constitutionalist people bring about the change? We are at a crossroads, that is for sure.
Its good to be back around. Hopefully I can continue making more time for this and become a regular again at fundmental ;)

BHO wants us to fail, globally
What I mean by that is: he wants the USA not to be the NO. 1 economic power but wants us as part of a community with equal status. Look at his visit to Mexico. He will promote amnesty next year for illegals and then ask Mexico to still be with Canada , our two best trade partners. Quid pro quo except we get no quid in the trade.

I do see that with many liberals in our government. Im just not sure how they think they can get through all that needs to be done without the American people taking their legs out.

I hate to be so right...especially when I was halfway joking.
"Once they choose option 2(while secretly doing option 1 as well)"
They sell 1 trillion in bonds...10 days later 47% of them are bought by the feds. Its option 2 while secretly doing option 1! haha
I just had to gloat over that one.
