Tis the Season...

Hmmm

At least you HAD a life to be eaten. :) My employer (more or less correctly I must admit) adjudged that I HAD no life, and planned my schedule accordingly. Can one assume that when the season is complete you will have a semblance of a life again?

Maaaaaaybe...

When the season is over, I had better be 20 lb less of a person, which will go a fair bit into having more of a life!

Then, all I have to do is lose at least 40 more by next June. Stupid wedding season.

Take heart

I lost 140 lbs from May-October this year. It CAN be done. (That I still have a like amount to lose is daunting, but success is its own motivator)

WOW. Thou rocketh most mightily! You got this far, you can do it!

I have probably about 90 to lose to get to my goal weight. Gonna start after Thanksgiving. Not that I plan on a Roman-style feast complete with vomitorium, but still... I want my pumpkin pie, dangit!

Thanks

It was not easy nor done properly for the first couple months. I am now on a structured program, (Weight Watchers) and my loss rate has stabilized from an average of 8lbs a week or so down to 2. I spent the better part of 20 years in this state, so the road is rough, but navigable. If I can do it, it CAN be done. Good luck.

WW is awesome.

I lost around 50 lb on that, but gained it all back and then some when I lapsed. Going to try it again, counting points and all that goodness. Should work out. Good luck to you too.

Ahh yes.

Your lost weight found you again did it? When mine does that, it brings friends. :) If you want a cheering section (a task I do for many given my efforts and success, including most of my WW group) ping me using my callsign as the first part of a yahoo.com email.
