I could not agree more with both your suggestions on diesel and nuclear
power. However, the environmentalists will never allow it. Europe has
already tried wind and solar and are now getting over their anti-nuclear
hysteria and going for nuclear power in a big way. Check out a piece by
Alex Alexiev in the National Review called "Green Bubbles Bursting". He
details the number of countries switching to nuclear. Even the Ukraine,
the home of the famous Chernobyl disaster is building 11 plants.
I hope Canada keeps drilling.

BTW, what's the weather been like in your area?

I live near Boston and have family in Montreal and both regions have been exceptionally colder than normal this spring.

One would hope that responsible journalists will start reporting that global temperatures have fallen sharply over the past few years and that solar activity is the primary driver of temperature change.
