I would go.

I went to every political event in San Francisco in the years 1965-1966 [while in the USNR] and some later. I needed to hear what they were actually saying and doing. I went to their meetings and 'discussions' and study groups and read their literature.

These events formed much of my education. I saw them for what they really were: confused, hateful and on drugs.

Most of these people are losers and will lose again.
