I do know that in the case of Senator Trent Lott, I will never vote for him again. If he wins the Republican primary for his seat, I will not vote Republican. I will never again vote for the Democratic Party; so I will vote for an independent or third party.

The only problem with this is that unless the person running as an independent/third party is very well known, the Democrat will win.

However, I share your fustration. Short of an actual citizen revolt (or a nuclear attack on Congress by Al Quida), I do not see how to get these jokers out of office.
