Yes, lets add a gas tax. That's the ticket. How about this, lets say we cut their salaries in half. Their job performance is low and continues into a downward spiral. Lets take away their perks and save some money.

Sue, it would take an armed insurrection to cut their salaries or to get their perks away from them.
The only peaceful way is the ballot box. As I've said before if a large number of incumbents lose in November the survivors would probably be more likely to listen to the people.
Yes, we would lose some of the few good ones. I'd be very sad to see Sen. Jeff Sessions of Alabama out of the Senate. He's one of the few that consistently makes sense.

Too bad we can't take away their perks!
As for incumbants, I would love to see a lot of them go, but they keep getting voted back in. I am in agreement with you about the incumbants. Now maybe some of the people will start to take notice and not vote for them.

If we needed any more reason to throw these !@#$%! (expletive deleted) out of office we now have it.
One day they throw away billions on foreign aid and the next day they want to raise taxes.
Anyone who votes to put them back in office is just plain stupid.

They need to go. I saw today on the news that Cindy Sheehan is going to run against Pelosi. Okay! Apparently Pelosi missed the deadline that Sheehan put in place that Sheehan gave her to impeach Bush.
As for Pelosi, another reason to really send her packing, last week I saw in a nail salon the Bazaar magazine and there was an article with Nancy Pelosi. The one picture of her she is modeling a lovely jacket that you can purchase for $1500 and the skirt she was wearing you have to call for pricing.
There was an interview with her and of course she bagged on Bush. Like what else is new and then she talked about how she keeps herself looking great and blah...blah...new wardrobe for the convention...blah...blah...And I thought great! People are paying big bucks for gas and you are doing a magazine layout. You go girl! You really want to increase the Congress's approval rating! NOT!

Cindy Sheehan is too kooky even for the kooks in San Francisco.

Loved her announcement. I was like, sure Cindy like you are going to win.
Not sure if Pelosi is finding the time to campaign. Today she was in Montana for Mayor Newsom's wedding. Please!

Pelosi won't have to campaign. If there's such a thing as a sure thing it's Pelosi in Frisco.

You are correct. The only big thing that happened so far in her so called campaign was they pulled the ad with Pelosi and Newt in many parts of CA right after it came out.
