Isn't she also pitching a new book?
I just saw her a few minutes ago on the news referring to "her book". If it's a new book, talk about shameless.

I don't mean to be insensitive but...
it really does seem that they overstated, or at least misled us to misunderstand, the extend of her "new" condition. At first, it seemed the new developments were terminal and the end was relatively near. Now it seems that she is not in grave danger. Then why the big press conference? Why now?

Use any angle you can
I suppose public figures and politicians will use any event for publicity. I know I wonder why a candidate would continue when his wife has cancer and he has young children. I'm sure they can afford care for her/them -- but what about the time together. Surely a campaign robs families of time together.
