Less Hope, but not Hopeless

I have a lot of hope

The meaning of the slogan "Hope and Change" just came to me as I was pondering over our current situation. It seems that I am having to have more hope than ever.

I hope that our national security is given great consideration and attention by the new administration. I hope that our new leaders will take seriously the threat of radical Islam against our nation and world. I hope that our kids and future generations to come are not saddled with an oppressive Marxist schemes. I hope the engines of American ingenuity are not shackled by the chains of socialism. I hope that children coming up will be able to realize their dreams and aspirations. I hope that the American tradition of continual advancement will not be hamstrung by the "progressive" policies of Obama and his minions. I hope that Obama can realize that our "imperfect" nation is the shining hope of liberty for the world. I hope that conservatives can offer a true vision of liberty as the failed policies of socialism are advanced through the Congress. I hope that conservatives can restore the Republican Party to the party of liberty, free markets, strong defense, and great ideas. I hope, I hope, I hope.

Most of all, my hope is in Jesus Christ. He said I will build My church. And he will.

And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever. (Revelation 11:15)

Less Hope, but not Hopeless

Good Grief. A blackface Jimmy Carter. And a comical fawning press and political establishment. Any bets on how long the honeymoon will last?
