An offer to Conservative Wordsmith

This is Part 1 of my 2-part comment, as it is too long to post as one comment, and I have no intention of wasting more of my time publishing this comment as a post.

To Proud Liberal: Please don't put words into my mouth or writing that I never said. I never challenged any exercise in discussion of basic principles. The truth is that you posted a critical comment to one of my posts, to which I responded. There was never any discussion between us about an exercise in basic principles. You were simply discussing this with yourself, not me.

Please do not flatter yourself into thinking that you had some kind of a meaningful conversation with me, because you did not. In fact, you have only visited my blog on several occasions with the sole intent to criticize and irritate, something I have never done on your blog, and never wish to do. I have limited time, and I have generously spent considerable time in responding to your comments, even though you never really read my posts with any real purpose in trying to understand what I wrote.

I would have thought, based on my previous comment to your comment made on my "Al Gore Causes Global Warming??? - Part 1" post, that you would by now understand my lack of interest in your interpretation of my posts, or my analytical technique.

I have 100% confidence in my abilities, including my analytical methodology. My analytical technique is excellent, thank you, and I regard your opinion about this as being tantamount to the manner in which I regard Al Gores's opinions.

Since your purpose in writing your comments has an agenda that is not intrinsically connected with a true understanding of my posts, I don't trust anything you write or say.

My answer to you regarding your Al Gore question is this: I don't agree with you that Al Gore doesn't have to please me. Al Gore does have to please me if he wants me to believe what he says about global warming.

Al Gore is a public and vocal figure, and he does need to live his life according to the global warming principles he wants everyone else to live their lives by. Since he doesn't do this, he is a hypocrite, and this doesn't please me or anyone else that understands the meaning of hypocricy.

As far as critiquing your "Essay on Conservatism" post, I'm sorry, but I simply don't have the time to do this. Maybe Christopher Hitchens would be interested. I think you have much in common with him.
