North America did well in Pan Am Zonals

Another report from the Pan American Zonal Championships:

Both the American and Canadian teams did well.

In women's saber, Sandra Sassine knocked out her teammate Donna Saworski. Sassine made the top 8; Saworski the top 16.

America won team women's saber; Canada took 2nd behind the strong fencing of Saworski and anchor Sassine.

The weather was good. Local animal life included lizards.

The food was so-so.

Garbage littered the streets.
