Very good blog entry. People don't want to take control of their own lives. It is easier to let life wash over them and then blame others for the things they don't like.

Perhaps they could develop it, but not everyone HAS the character to step out and take control. But if they don't have that character and are unwilling to develop it, they should learn to be happy with their choice instead of blaming others and whining.

Great point, Ken. You're right, not everyone has it in them. I think many more than are out there doing something, however, do have it in them but don't know how to tap into their own strengths.

That is why God gave us coaches.

Jefferson wrote that some truths are "self evident". This does not mean, however, that everyone can recognize them. Some need more education that others.
