This Stimulus Is Not Stimulating

The basic problem here is that conservatives in general like to see if things work before they come out against them. Unlike liberals, who immediately bash any program implemented as "failed" if it fails to conform with their ideology (think "Iraq surge"), even when we are sure something won't work (this stimulus), we tend to give more benefit of the doubt. Liberals know this, and in this case are using that tendency toward fair-mindedness to ram pork-laden, influence peddling, non-stimulus spending down our throats. Way to call attention to this problem. Nice post.
