POWERFUL

Why was I not informed of this masterpiece?

Sorry!

I was going to add you to my shameless plug list, but I got distracted.

And neither was I!!!

C'mon, Arturick! Let a crustacean know when you've got a good'un posted!

Okay...so I was...

but I managed to get over here to your post before I even checked my own blog today.

Terrific and powerful

If you want someone who is on the same page as you, watch Glen Beck. He is spot on that there is hardly a speck of difference between dems and repubs. He's been featuring states and movements that are actually working to break the yoke of big gov't.

MD/MG

Yeah, I can't really catch Beck on the tv or radio with my schedule and his, but I have "An Inconvenient Book." He seems like a stand up guy.

I also like Michael Savage. I wouldn't consider him a completely reliable or steady source of information... or sane... but he's an entertainingly crotchety loony.

Good Wins, Evil Loses

One of the goals of the left is to infiltrate and take over the opposing party. The biggist success to date of this process was John McCain being the standard bearer of the Republican party.
This strikes me as similer to the scenario that gave us Warren G. Harding. That worked out for the conservatives when Harding died in office and Calvin Coolidge became president. President Coolidge undid many of the damaging leftist policies put in place by Woodrow Wilson.

The point of optimism here is that strange things happen in politics. When things look the darkest a light shines through in the form of a charismatic leader stepping forth to lead and organize. Who is that person? Could be someone we already are aware of, or someone presently toiling in the background.
To use a sports analogy, conservatives are in a rebuilding year.

Just for grins, some Calvin Coolidge quotes that still have relevance:
“The business of America is business."

"This country would not be a land of opportunity, America could not be America, if the people were shackled with government monopolies."

"No nation ever had an army large enough to guarantee it against attack in time of peace, or insure it victory in time of war."

BTW

Fantastic Article!
Thanks for visiting my blog.

Very Nice

Excellent work,Arturick. Excellent. Food for thought on Coolidge.
