to tell you thank you for your help on the latest Wir's column (with SJDoc). For purposes of this post I will refer to SJDoc as "he", but who knows, could be a "she." I honestly don't know what is up with SJDoc, but I do believe he gets some kind of weird thrill out of trying to mess with people's minds and show how "uber-intellectual" he is. To me his posts sounds like one of those Euro-elitist egg-heads and I grow weary of his wordy argumentative insulting responses (to pretty much all those who engage with him.)Like I told him, he has deeper issues. I told him I will refrain from posting to him but I think I will take it further and scroll right on by his posts as well(especially after reading the posts after the final one I wrote to him!) Who needs it? Anyway, thanks again. I wish I had more time to visit your blog, but there just are not enough hours in the day.

You're quite welcome. I finally gave up and took your tack with SJDoc. The tone of his anti-Christian comments elsewhere have strongly suggested to me that he does indeed have some deeper "issues." You can't have a reasoned discussion with someone who is more interested in salving past hurts than in having a respectful exchange. I generally try to engage with people I disagree with, but I have also learned that at time it's best just to walk away.

I've been pleasantly surprised to find a few honest lefties (and even right-learning anti-Christians, as I suspect SJDoc to be) on TH who are well worth engaging, but sadly most are just looking to vent unrelated frustrations in an anonymous forum like TH.

I look forward to "seeing" you around TH.

That thing with SJ Doc?
He claims to be a practicing physician.
Medicine is a rapidly changing art.
Real Doctors are reading almost constantly to keep up.

For a practicing Dr. to waste time at TH that should be spent reading Journals or "Papers" about new cures is to risk causing a patient to suffer or even die because he is derelict in keeping up his practice.

You might lay something like that on him some time.

Maybe SJDoc is really retired, or just practices part-time. That's all the sense I can make out of it. You make a very good point, in any case.

Thanks for the nice words about my posts. I used to pose regularly, but now I just join a thread that looks promising when I have the time.

It's good to see you active again. (If I've missed you elsewhere then forget I said that.) I enjoyed your debate with Little Pig, but it quickly bypassed me. I'm no biblical scholar, and not much of a philosophizer, either. I'm still waiting for the regular programming, though...
