The Recession Recovery

and so far I don't see it. It's hard to believe in recovery when the unemployment rate is so high and forclsure rates out of sight. Ours is a consumer driven economy and more than 6 million of those consumers are out of work. It's hard to pump up the economy when you don't have a job. Iagree with you that the recovery will be a long drawn out one. I just hope we do eventually recover. With all this spending and borrowing and out of sight national debt, I'm not making any bets on it. Good post Patrick.

penny wise and not so self indulgent with their vacations, date nites, pet projects, photo opts., bailing out other Countries, we would have lots more to show for our hard earned tax dollars! Instead, the 'powers that be' defend their millions and billions wasted by stating, well, in the sceme of things it's only a pittance, a drop in the bucket, compared to the trillions we must spend! So they justify their fiscal irresponsibility when they are fickle with our dollars. Just think of all the good those billions could accomplish, for our many needs being neglected?! Every little bit helps.
It's easy for our leaders to spend other peoples money. What they lack is the work ethnic! Amen
