Krugman offers Us His True Perspective on the Soul.

Years ago

Years ago, two books were out on The Conscience of a Liberal, The Conscience of a Conservative by Frank Meyers. One can always see that after a few generations since the FDR year, liberals simply erased any spiritual foundation for their opinions, standards, and policies. It is no wonder that Norman Thomas, Eugene Debs, and other socialists found their ideas in FDR's platform and continue on to this very day. There eve was a group of so called liberal Christians: Peale, people from Union Seminary, and pastors from NY and DC Presy, Episcopal churches who fronted for Dem pols. Those days are gone though Obama duped many Christians into voting for him ala the Campolo, Jim Wallis ideology of social justice. Krugman is simply a pagan liberal who reminds me more of Charles Beard than any real economist even in the Keynesian framework. In fact, I find him almost mad. And I do not mean angry. Stop by anytime.

liberals ... erased spiritual foundation

rackoons: your comment that"liberals simply erased any spiritual foundation" is precisely accurate and forms the basis of much of their politics. It seems that the attack on religion started in earnest during the Reformation and extended into England in the 18 century. John Wesley and others tried to change the conduct of the slum inhabitants and were successful. This all worked until the druggies and activists got control of the Dems. As a Methodist, I have seen this church polluted by perverts, atheists, social activists and others who have an agenda that is not Christian. Our Bishop was a sicko and was transferred to Albany when it was shown that she was into lesbian and other matters.

It is interesting that Islam is now the religious choice of the left even though the SF types would be executed for their perversions. This is an example of selective political maneuvering as it is impossible for any sane person to accept God in one religion and reject God in another.

Krugman is an example of an atheist Jew [I think] and is closer to Trotsky and Lenin than we suspect. The Joke of the Religious types is Nancy Pelosi who lectures the Pope on abortion!

Krugman Is A Jerk.....

and intellectually he is bankrupt.

I pity him and pray for him; but I doubt that he will change. He has sold his soul to buy a "bill of goods" that were proven wrong years ago.

Krugman Is A Jerk..

Krugman Is A Jerk.....in the sense that he is no honest. He leads several professors in the technique of making a college topic a turn-of-the-crank political exercise. He is dishonest in that he cannot give a fair, unbiased evaluation for any non-socialist society. He talks about nationalizing banks and such and spending and for to "ignore the deficits" while he criticized the Rs for that in the past. He has no coherent advice on how to handle the monstrous debt we have now or how to stop spending. England is heading for the economic loo due to their high taxes and massive spending. They are going to go broke. When a major country goes financially bankrupt and defaults on loans and experiences massive inflation then this is an opportunity for the left to denounce capitalism as not working. This is the krugmanical theme that he uses. He welcomes a revolution. The justification for this comes, mostly, from the salient fact that the so-called 'poor' in this country have NO hope of participating in capitalism for a variety of reasons and the bigger their ranks the more votes they can provide for the revolution. It is clear that the low class, mostly in the inner cities, have no life, are besotted with drugs, sloth and worse and cannot hold jobs or run businesses.

The only solution for these types is parentalism via big government. Looking to the leading edge of this movement, we can watch CA and think about the phony Needle Park mess in Switzerland.

http://www.nationalfamilies.org/publications/by_nfia/needle %20_park.html

"Zurich's flirtation with legalization began in a park that looks a lot like Piedmont Park. There, authorities allowed young people to smoke pot and use other illegal drugs. They passed out clean needles, and addicts openly injected heroin and cocaine. In a very short time, a few hundred drug users turned into thousands and the area acquired a new name: Needle Park. Young people died. Disease spread. Crime escalated. Needle Park become so unsafe, unhealthy and unlivable that officials shut it down in 1992. It remains closed today." [It is NOT closed. There is some little train station nearby where the druggies can get clean needles and shoot up.] The drooling morons in CA or MA or NYC will duplicate this everywhere in their states. They like drugs that much. The fools even think they can tax mj and bring in 4 bln in revenues.

They are all jerks. Krugman is the Timothy Leary of Economics.
