Good piece again.

Equality is something that folks want to put as much as they can into. But it has come to mean something completely different to what it really does... Equality means equal, the same. But to assume we are all the same is to deny so much of reality. I am not the same as a black man, nor am I the same as a woman. I am not the same as a Frenchman or a Chinese. But this distinction has become lost, and you are correct to point this out. Equality under the law is apt, but we are not all equal. We have different parts, backgrounds, ideas, etc. We shuold recognize these differences, but we should not force equality on all others. We'd end up in 1984.

As to the fairness doctrine: its a joke, and another step to George Orwell.
