Item # 2: Well, the Demos had better stop celebrating and get to work. How are they going to handle Hamas' announcement (and instructions to their jihadists) that American targets are now a priority? Are they just going to ignore this announcement? Hmmm, this should be interesting to watch.

Now that the surprise has receded, my reaction is exactly Hmmmmmmmmm. This should be interesting. You can make a pretty good case that the GOP got trashed because it handled NONE of these items. That's the bad news. the good news is that they do not disappear just becsuse the Demsters are in. Judging from the posts i have read, the left wing posters all see a bright new day, and starting no later than tomorrow morning. I actually believe that a solid core on the left do think that by the time Nancy Pee gets her new drapes, she will have solved all the above, plus raised the minimum wage, appointed a couple lefties to the supreme court, impeached Bush, jailed any Republican with name recognition, and ended corruption in DC. We'll see. I hope she makes the same kind of mistakes Carter and the Bushes made, and tries to be all things to all people.

Points 1 and 2: I think they are going to put up a show, but basically postpone really doing anything so that they can again blame it on Bush and claim that they need a D for pres so they can get the job done.

Point 3: There going to put the money in a lockbox of course. Man, that was an easy one.

Point 4: I have a feeling they will be fine with writing their moderates off as long as they can replace, or better yet surpass them with votes from incoming immigrants.

Point 5: I don't think they mind higher gas prices. And, again, they can put up a show and then blame Bush.

We really need Republican congressmen to be tenacious and not let the Dems slither through the next two years.

I hope she tries to be all things to the Michael Moore segment of their party.
