I am probably voting for Gov Romney. I am still a bit concerned about some of his big GOV policies but he is far and away th best of the serious candidates.

Many fear because he ran such a liberal state but i say it is a Plus. NOT that I am liberal but he has a GREAT ability to work with others and that will be important as long as the Dems own congress.

had me wandering since I dont consider myself a lefty. the Lefty Impressions were ones I got in an email and the responses were not lefty in my opinion. (although I much prefer, Hannity and Boortz to Rush, )

No, no, no. You misunderstood. I get that you're not a Lefty -- I was complimenting you on your take on Lefty ideas, and how you could easily put yourself in the mind of a Lefty, THEN rebut those impressions with your own comments.

I thought his speech was done very well. The best thing I think he has going for him is that he is a business man. I have thought for a long that a business man would be a good thing. The embeded politians are just that. The fact that he hasn't been a life long politian is a plus. His strong family ties and the fact that he hasn't been a Bubba(cuts down on words)is also a good thing. I'm not quiet sure what some people think that because of his church and faith he will all of a sudden turn in to a red devil with a pitchfork if he is elected or what.

I still haven't made a 100% choice but I can honestly say I'm sure there's no dimwits in my future. I am, like a lot of others that would like to know why none of the others aren't being held to the same type of questions? I have nothing against the others except for the one that wears the tinfoil hat that would also not be on my list, long or short. But as far as not having to put up with any of the dimwits, the tinfoil hat may have a shot. Just kidding. If he ever got in I would just take my ticket and go to the helio pad and wait for the mother ship.

Wow, you are defintly the anti-me. I met Governor Romney and liked him in October 2006 but over the following year, he has become the only candidate on either side I will not vote for. While many good conservative people support Romney, he has burned alot of bridges to be embraced by the conservative "christian" right, and lost moderate Republicans like me.
