I did love McCain and his visits to local areas with European names. I thought that was pretty brilliant. It kind of makes the whole thing look like David vs. Goliath. The media forgets that Americans love an underdog. Keep it up, MSM, you might just get McCain elected.

I have been impressed with McCain on war and energy issues, and while I still differ with him greatly on several things, feel he is a much better choice as President than the rock star.

I agree with you that the media doesn't understand that they are setting Obama up to be another Lindsey Lohan or Ben Affleck, a star so overhyped, so analyzed, so fluffy (lacking substance), that people come to despise them and their inane blather.

It isn't racism or even conservatism that is annoying people, its backlash against the effort to dumb down the American electorate with staged "presidentiality"
