There are still Christians who vote Democrat! The Dems arent going to actively assault Christianity but I think their next move will be to use the 'Fairness Doctrine' to silence religious broadcasters. Home schooling is definately a target; liberal judges have already ruled against it in California. The concept of 'religious abuse' borrowed from communist countries has surfaced; your children can be seized by the state because you're teaching them 'hatred' and telling them to opt out of the collective. THERE ARE NO CONSERVATIVE DEMOCRATS!

I keep trying to understand how a person can be truly Christian and vote for a party rife with policies that are 180 degrees from Biblical teachings. There are Christians and then there are "other" Christians. I sometimes wonder if a lot of christians really know what they believe. Or what they should believe. I know we aren't supposed to judge........but then again, we aren't supposed to be brain dead either.

I've been signing petitions, writing letters, etc. re: the so called fairness doctrine.

My son & Daughter-in-law are home schooling their youngest son.(in Colorado). She's been notified that unless she's a certified teacher, she will not be allowed to home-school next year. This is in spite of the fact that she's a licenced Doctor and a professor. Is that dumb or what?

Not only are there no conservative democrats, I don't think there are any, (or many) sane ones. What are they thinking?

That's what we're hearing these days. At the same time, we are being told to walk to work in order to save the planet, that we have a moral responsibility to change our lightbulbs out.

They seek to replace God our Father with Government our Mother. It must not be allowed!

Go get-em Bobbie! I recently told a friend of mine that she was truly blessed to work in a large university where she could attend a bible study on campus without persecution.

I have several friends some with this priviledge and some who are denied. In each and every case they are thankful to God for the religious freedom we have in the USA. If we don't defend this freedom then this and many others can be taken away by powers wishing to deceive and hinder people from turning to God.

I know what you mean if our "Fearless Leaders" don't start listening to us they will be wearing head scarves too while waltzing with us into oblivion or at least ruled by evil doers.
So keep writing, keep calling, keep organizing and maybe Nancy and Harry will return from Disneyland (Oh oh look-out, is that a flying jackass) and realize that all the ideology in the world is not going to save us and Obama won't save us either. We need action. We need people who aren't afraid to lead us in PRACTICAL, COMMON-SENSE, WAYS, Who can stand-up to the wacko's God Help Us. AMEN

Your son and daughter-in-law should convert to Islam and scream "RACISM!" The authorities will send them a check along with an apology. This is happening in CA as well. Even though home school kids do much better scholastically than victims of our Federal Education system they are woefully behind in social skills like smoking pot and stealing cars...two subjects I must admit I did quite well in in my Public High School.
There are Christian Democrats. Lots of them. The propaganda of liberalism is everywhere and a lot of people want to be on the side of 'the good guys'.

Now there's and idea. If they yell as individual entities, they could posibly get two checks along with apologies from both Nancy & Harry. why didn't I think of that.

As for "Christian Democrats"........I see Bumper Stickers here that say "I'm a Christian, I own a gun, and I vote Democrat". Go figure. I am tempted to either key their car/truck and/or leave a message under their ws wiper. However, Imanage to discipline myself. It ain't easy.

But anyway, I agree with everything in this post, 100%. Its a topic I am passionate about...

The country was Christian in its founding, if not officially. While it is true many founders would be hard pressed to be labeled as "evangelical" today, they were very moral (though flawed) and educated on Christian principles.

More than one acknowledged the success of the nation was dependent upon its adherence to morals, and largely Christian morals at that.

That we see the departure from in the last forty years from Christianity, we start to truly see the wisdom behind the warnings. I fear the only way out may be complete separation from Washington (a while out and a hugely radical step but nonetheless realistic).

The divisions, the selfishness, the hypcorisy and the reliance on others for information is astoundingly dangerous.
