THE LEAST MEN STANDING
MAYBE NANCY PELOSI ISN'T LYING?

I believe it is a bit telling that Ms. Pelosi had to refer to her "papers" when asked what she had said just a week or two previous. That is a telltale sign of a liar. If she had honestly misunderstood or had not heard the entirety of a briefing, that would be a truth that memory could easily recall. When paperwork is needed to refresh memory, it is because what is being remembered was not real and is not easily recalled.
Perpetual liars must keep a mental Rolodex of lies told, to whom, when, in what context, and why. Otherwise they are exposed by their inconsistancies.
Rush Limbaugh gave a 90 minute speach at CPAC with no cards, papers, or teleprompter because he spoke the truth from his heart. Obama can not give a 15 minute opening remark to the press corp without the prompter because he might say something that would negate statements earlier in the day.
Truth needs no aids to remember because it is real.
Pelosi is a liar, and that is giving her the benefit of the doubt.
You are too gracious for the likes of her.

I was actually trying to damn Ms Pelosi with faint praise with satire. Of course she was lying, but Stupidity and Incompetence are always suitable substitutes, so keep an eye for them.
Narcissists, we've found, will move mountains to prevent being perceived as incompetents (Travel Gate comes to mind) but will ride out a lie as they know they can spin it(with the help of the media)into little more than a contrary political opinion.
The Speaker hasn't any media support here as Obama has decided to dump her... because 1) she's become a liability 2) a much too easy target and 3) serves as a perfect example to any other Dem who should get in OB's way, such as Reid. Once gone, the rest will toe the line.
Vassar mentioned this back in Nov in one of his life under socialism pieces, where he said the two different kinds of competing socialism would eventually clash, and Obama would win, taking at least one scalp.
Nancy's will be hanging on his lodgepole very soon.

I am not very adept at recognizing sattire, especially when done as well as you have here.
Now that I know it, it is quite humorous.
I was not chiding you, though. I would never presume to correct any of the VB crew by belittlement. Too much respect for the whole gang.
Good work sir. Fooled me.

Just keep a sense of humor...it's one of the few things the gubbmint can't steal from you...but they can encourage you to discard it.

My dad taught me, around the age of five, (1957) to always remember who I was, and where I came from.
I am the son of Wm Flowers, the grandson of Sam Flowers, a Primitive Baptist preacher with ten children, he was the son of Wm Flowers, a Primitive Baptist preacher who participated in the Oklahoma land rush, he the son of John Wesley Flowers, confederate soldier and father of fourteen children, him being the son of Charles Wesley Flowers, a Prim. Baptist preacher, and on and on back to Jms Fluor, Scottish ship captain born in 1675, his sons signed the surrender of Cornwallis as witnesses. They were Flowers then.
I always have a sense of humor, I find myself amusing.
And verbose.

That's good stock, we only make fun...
...of Episcopalians here, and only when they still cling to the C of E. (The African branch is far more interesting.)
I took you for being younger...which is a compliment...maybe Bushmills led me to believe otherwise.
I can't imagine a Primitive Baptist even in high desert California without papers!
There's still hope.
We may outflank them.
