After the blowout, whether the Democrats, full speed ahead or proceed slowly?

When one speaks or writes of Republicans, one needs to distinguish between those Republicans who actually promote less government involvement (interference) in our lives and those Republicans who propose and support legislation and programs that cause further erosion of our constitutional liberties. I am convinced that the election of any of the 2008 Republican candidates other than Ron Paul would have resulted in the continuation of the march toward a world government, full speed ahead and damn the Constitution.
