Seriously...I agree with your death penalty view when if comes to disabilities. But there is a big, big difference between what Saddam did, and what we in the US consider capital punishment cases. There really isn't any comparison to be made on any level. I mean, for how long were we trying to put a cruise missile between his eyes?
I wouldn't say I'm elated over this, but there's a certain grim satisfaction that we are still making progress in this war. I think the Iraqis showed incredible restraint and that's something the US can take some credit for.
