How about comparing apples to apples?
You have left out demographics, immigration policies, included the post WWII economic boom which is you can't compare to post 1970 data. Also write about tax rates, but not tax law. Yes, the top marginal rate was 70%, but you did not factor in the tax deductions the rich could get that actually REDUCED their total tax far below what they actually pay today. The data is available on the IRS website, so I can only deduce that you intentionally left it out in order to get the results you want. When you figure a problem such as this, you need to analyze ALL available data and then form your conclusion from that data. What you did was begin with a conclusion and cherry-picked your data to support your conclusion. Garbage in, Garbage out.
