IRANIAN PROTESTERS TO OBAMA--"YOU FRAUD!!"

I bet those Iranian protesters wish that Bush was still president. They aren't expecting much from a president who's too busy to screw his own country rather than help another. Good post.

I didnot read your blog. I am not here to respond to it. I AM responding to your posting on T. Sowell's TH "rant". I've always felt that "minority leadres" (Jackson, Sharpton et al)
do indeed keep pressing for the programs that are supposed to help, but un reality keep the mionorities down.
Where would Al Sharpton be if every black achieved his or her potential?
where would La Raza be if all hispanic citizens and immigrants assimilated and became Americans?
I'll tell you- out of work.

And another thing. If a government program designed to help the poor actually worked, then the program (and all the employees of the program) would also be out of work.

Thank you. I couldn't agree with you more. As difficult as it might be for many of us to tear ourselves away from the plantation it will be necessary for us to do so if we are to have any chances for advancement. Nobody ever got rich from a reliance of government welfare.

Government entitlement programs are designed to help people that, for whatever reason, are deemed unable to help themselves. Until I become either crippled or crazy (or both) I will not accept that as my station in life.

The seeds of this were planted in Iraq, mostly by George Bush.
The Middle East has gotten a taste of liberty, a taste of the modern civilized world in stark contrast to the profound evil of the dark ages death cult adhered to by the primitive savages of true islam.
Once tasted, or even smelled in the wind from over the border this will not be denied. The bell tolls for the wackos running Iran and to some degree for those other regimes there, though it may take some time...
