Too bad an API of 800 is below "proficient." There's nothing like setting your kids up to be below average. I guess the new success mantra is "set low standards and try to meet them." What a joke!

Try to attend one of the Rocklin School Board meetings. Pay attention to the “Grand Poobah,” Steve Paul and you will see how happy this board member is when he can claim the school district met the minimum standards. Ask him what he thinks about Twin Oaks being rated well below average by the California Department of Education. Then ask him why he will not let all Twin Oaks parents attend Rocklin Academy. He and his comrades on the board are preventing parents the right to choose a high performing school.
