Socialism, Capitalism and Christianity

Good entry. I always remind Liberal "Christians" that Jesus didn't say for Caesar to do it, He said "You do it". Also, we are to do it in His name and not Caesar's. Besides, letting someone else do it is just lazy. They just don't get it.

I believe George Washington(one of the founding fathers) said it best in his speech at ,"Tripoli" , "this country is not and has never been founded on the Christian religion".... the founding fathers were deist(from the enlightenment).... thank you

I'd have to see that quote. Several of the Founding Fathers were quoted as believing that this country could not survive apart from Christian values. Also, when the Pilgrams and Puritans left Europe in search of religious persecution, it was because they wanted stricter religious adherence, not weaker.

Also, Deists believed in God, more than you give them credit. It's really only anti-religious sentiment in the modern day that wishes this were not the case.
