All the candidates from both sides of the aisle realize that the President can't get anything done without a majority in Congress. Taking the positions you outlined above might get a candidate elected, but once there, do you think any of those items would be passed by the Senate?

Things won't change until people get angry enough at their own Congressmen/Senators, and then get a person in the White House to finish the job..

a president elected on such a platform could get it enacted by getting on TV and telling the average citizen who is stopping it from coming to fruition. Does the average American want Saudi Arabia dictating the price of oil? I think not.
Does the average American want illegal aliens sneaking into the country and depressing wages? I think not.
Does the average American want huge trade deficits with China with our money then being used to build up the Communist Chinese military? I think not.
The defeat of the illegal alien amnesty bill shows that the people can get their way if they have proper leadership.
A president explaining what is at stake can provide that leadership.

It just takes Patriotic Americans to elect Don Cordell in 2008 and this nation will become the pride of the World again.

Any Congress person or Senator who does not agree to protect this nation will be charged with Treason.

We can not continue under the present plan to destroy our nation with the Security and Prosperity Partnership about to be enacted to remove our borders and convert us to the North American Union.

If our citizens don't start paying attention, this nation will be stolen from us.

We blindly believe the Constitution and the Bill of Rights protects us, and that our elected officials took an oath of office promissing to protect our Constitution, and our Bill of Rights.
