A Day at the "Mock" Protest Rally

A clear and unmistakable demonstration of your name!

Thanx for the story and thanx for these great pics. U.S. Citizens are a creative bunch and it makes me proud!

AL / Mrs. AL

Some people get it.

I am glad to see that there are many poeple who do get what is really going on.

Will the news media cover the protest as forcefully as they would if it was against Bush?

Saltwater

Nice photos and great post!!

It would seem the education system has been shunned thru all this. This is just the beginning. I hope we survive all this.

Jason

Salt

Be careful, I hear the next porkulus bill will have substantial moneys set aside for re-education camps (aka "schools").

Great pics all...this should be happening daily in every city.

Hey, I say give the guy the hair plugs. I like the woman that just wants the swimming pool and the one that wants the tummy tuck. I myself am going for the Cadillac Escalade!

Good pictures! I agree this should be going on every day and there should be a large group outside the White House. I wonder what he would do if that happened!

Mrs. AL

Yes, there were some very creative messages. You would have felt more pride at their deportment. There was no mass jeering and vulgarity by the “protesters” as the motorcade passed. The few isolated idiots were quickly chastised and hushed.
I have regular contact with law enforcement in my line of work, and greatly appreciate the efforts of those dedicated men and women. As I walked the half-mile back to my truck, I would thank the officers lining the street for their work. Before I had gone a city block, I realized that many of those behind me were doing the same – and did so until they passed the cordon.
That alone made it worth the 90 mile round trip.

Elmer from Iowa

Than you for stopping by the Crow's Nest.
Many people get it, and that gives rise to hope that we may survive this Administration.
Word is going out that we won't be silenced – even as the media tries to ignore us.

Cindy

Enough said. A good time was had by all - without leftist style hate.

Jason

Education has taken a back seat for decades. That in part allowed our current situation to develop.
We must survive. It won't be a easy struggle, but very little of value is easily obtained – or retained.

bdubya

Complete assimilation of the education system is high on the agenda.
We must be much more vigilant an vocal in our opposition as things progress. They caught those who actually believed their bi-partisan BS flatfooted this time. Maybe this will stir those indolent apologists.

Anchors Away!

Thanks for sharing these great photos, Saltwater! What a fun event! It is heartening to see real opposition to pbho and his empty promises!

Sue

I suspect BO will suffer explosive diarrhea, and ruin his regal attire, when (not if) the peasants figuratively storm the castle in protest.

dawndawn

Hearting indeed. May this be the first (and smallest) of many more to come. Open opposition strikes fear in the hearts of tyrants.

Hopefully this is only a drop in the bucket that becomes the tidal wave, eventually crashing down on their arrogant craniums.

Thanks, Saltwater, and see this

The tsunami is building – check the link drpete offered.

WOW

drpete, thanks for that video link – a true must see as Rick Santelli's tirade ignites the “not so silent majority.”
And so it begins.

Saltwater

Proactive Citizens with public displays...
yes, we need more of that.

Thanks for the post.

That video was amazing.

Like you said, "So it begins..."

Jennifer

Just as every vote counts during an election, every voice raised in public opposition to this Administration's agenda is critical.

great pix

The Enemedia Cone of Silence is smothering the Truth, funny, they'd jump all over Cindy Sheehan and five Code Pinkers for the Evening News....

davecatbone

There are cracks in that Cone of Silence. MSM may turn a blind eye, but we did get some love from Michell (Wait for it..**sigh**) Malkin:

They were talking about is one of our local radio stations today. They were laughing at the swimming pool lady. They thought it was great!

Amazing how I saw no press coverage of this.

I have nothing to say

that others haven't already said. Great post & pictures and Americans.
Thanks Salt.

What fun!

and yet, how deathly serious this all is. Our founders spoke to these issues, of course, of how smooth talkers end as tyrants. No free people give up their liberties knowingly, but the carrot with the string attached leads them to do so unwittingly.

Certainly the new President and new Congress are bringing change to Washington. Not a change of direction, but a dramatic acceleration in the the wrong direction.

Curt

Thank you for your comments.
It is deathly serious indeed. The insidiousness of hooking the unwitting with a grand give away has been stunningly effective on a frighteningly large number so far. Our only hope is to keep pushing against the house of cards, knocking it over before it is completed.

boaz

That's the spirit.
Gimme, gimme, gimme, and I'll go GREEN!

Someone should have wrote, "I'm cold, give me global warming!"

Eric

Good idea, but how would that help Dear Leader to spend us into prosperity?
I've got it. You can ask for carbon offset credits so you can heat your house to orchid growing temperature – just like The Anointed One.
Added bonus: The Goracle gets more money stuffed into his grubby hands.
