Of course Obama's people first thought he should have spoken at the Brandenburg Gate where they mistakenly thought JFK spoke (he spoke three miles away at Rudolph Wilde Platz).

Apparently, it was lost on the French that he spoke at the Victory Column that commemorates Prussian victory over France in 1870.

Why not speak at the Olympic Stadium where Jesse Owens kicked butt in 1936?
