Blowhard politics? Odds for America's green energy revolution--about one in a million!

Wonderful Analysis

A fabulous analysis, as usual. Legislators hate to have to admit that these so-called "green" technologies constantly require taxpayer subsidies to remain viable. In a free market, these technologies fail because they are not cost-effective. They also hate to admit the number of jobs lost in other industries as a result of increased environmental regulation. And environmentalists hypocritically ignore the cleanest large-scale power generation option, nuclear power, in a knee-jerk reaction to the scares caused by power plants engineered with 1970s technology. Never mind that France now gets almost all its electrical needs supplied safely by nuclear power produced in safer modern plants. Also, way to point out the China and India issues. All in all, fantastic post.
